Things the gift needs to cover:

  • Must be thoughtful
  • Something she actually likes
  • Something that doesn’t seem like a last minute gift.
  • Something I can afford

Then eureka!  It hit me, a magazine subscription.  I know she personally loves the family magazine Reader’s Digest so that is exactly what I’m getting.  No running out to the stores and it’s affordable.
