 Breast cancer is uncontrolled cell growth in the
breast. Breast cancer can spread to
surrounding tissues. Catching breast cancer
early drastically improves treatment. Because
breast cancer can be difficult to detect early on,
mammograms are the best tool we currently have to
detect breast cancer. Numerous organizations
are working hard to eliminate breast cancer as a
threat to health. We look forward to the day
when breast cancer becomes a bad memory from the
past.
